On Friday, Facebook revealed that as a result of a new international deal it will pay more tax, as the deal increases the global minimum corporate tax level, the world's largest digital social network said on Friday.
The Vice President of Global Affairs at Facebook, Nick Clegg said, "Facebook has long called for reform of the global tax rules, and we recognise this could mean paying more tax, and in different places,"
"The tax system needs to command public confidence, while giving certainty and stability to businesses. We are pleased to see an emerging international consensus,” he added.
