LONDON (Bywire News) - As EOS continues to develop and grow, the community appears to be changing by the week. New developments are coming to fruition and the network is increasingly reaching out to the crypto-verse. Here are a few of the highlights from this week’s fireside chat.

Discord Server

Channels have been consolidated while others have been archived. Those who have lost channels will be able to look in the archives.

  • ENF channel
  • EOS chat channel – the main hub for EOS.
  • Trading channel
  • Job boards formerly for EOS jobs where you can post available positions
  • Giveaway channel
  • Stream chat channel being used in conjunction with Twitter space events.

New Trust EVM Discord has been launched, which will include announcements from Eden, EVM and other updates happening within the community.

Recover+

Zack Gall had an update about Recover+. The EOS Recover.com portal is still being developed and the team is working on KYC integrations. The Recover+ Blue paper is a little different than the others which have already come out such as Wallet, Audit and API+ which included only research with proposals which would later be put out to tender. The Recover+ Blue paper is slightly shorter and comes with a product which is already attached to it.

The blue paper has been finalised, is going through the translation and branding process and is expected within the next couple of weeks.

Achieving consensus

Brandon Lovejoy will be heading down to Austin for Consensus to represent EOS. It’s part of the move to expand the profile of EOS within the wider crypto community. Unfortunately, he will be the only one leading a small presence for Consensus although other leading organisations from the EOSIO space will also be there such as Greymass, EOS Sphere and Telos.

Greymass Wallet update

Stéphane Bisson went over the team’s May progress update. Their goal is to grow their small team and attract developers and build tools which developers will need to grow their app.

There have been updates to their highly popular Anchor Wallet for EOSIO including android, IOS and desktop versions as well as their Unicode product which is a web based EOSIO wallet which works with Anchor.

EOSIO Rebrand

Anticipation is building for the EOSIO rebrand, with the community eager to see what names have made it through the list. However, it looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer as Yves La Rose suggests the final announcement could still be a couple of weeks away. At the moment there is no real timeline, but of the three names which were presented, two seem to have particularly resonated with the groups discussing them.

First Eden Fractal Event

June 8th was the first Eden Fractal event. They have been working on it for the last few weeks. They have a lot of Eden members working together to make this possible for all the communities. They are empowering the Eden community with weekly events using the Fractally process but with a goal to specifically help Eden. It’s a fun way to bring the Eden community together every week and coordinate work. They will break up into groups of six with each person sharing what they are doing to help Eden and the groups will reach a consensus on how much each participant is helping. Eden Respect will be counted in a spreadsheet.
