We’re kicking off with stellar NFT sales starting on June 21, plus you’ll want to know this season’s schedule.

Pomelo is a crowdfunding platform where anyone can request funding for public goods from the EOS community. The donations from the community determine how matching funds are divided.

We use quadratic funding, which means more matching funds go to the projects with more unique donors.

Pomelo Season 3 schedule

To help you start planning, here are the important dates for Season 3:

July 19–August 8: Create your grants for public goods. As grants are created, the Pomelo team approves the ones that qualify.July 27–August 17: Donate EOS to your favourite grants and influence the distribution of the matching pool.After August 17: The Pomelo team analyzes results and distributes the matching pool to qualified grants that pass KYC.

1. EOS Community Fireside Chat (English)

Hosted in the EOS Community Discord channel on Wednesdays at 20:00 UTC.Pitch your project for 4 minutes and answer questions for 6 minutes.Fireside pitches start July 20 and happen weekly.

2. Pomelo Pitch Deck interview (English)

Hosted by GenerEOS as a YouTube mini-series.A 20–30 minute overview where you:– Introduce your project– Discuss progress– Outline your current grant proposal– Explain future development– Provide other details as necessary

3. Twitter Spaces Rapid Fire (English)

Hosted live on Twitter Spaces.Pitch your project for 2 minutes and answer 1 question in 1 minute.Thursday, August 11 at 16:00 UTC.

4. Tencent meeting on WeChat (Chinese or English)

Hosted by the EOS Nation Asia team.An amazing opportunity to share your project with the Asian community!Pitch your project for 15 minutes and answer questions for 5 minutes.These pitch sessions are hosted in Chinese, but there is a translator present, so they are available to English-only presenters.
