LONDON (Bywire News) - Feedback on platform support for D.U.N.E, the Mandel Code Strategy and testing were top of the agenda in the 17th meeting for the Mandel development. Here are the updates:

Platform support

They heard from EOS Developer Artem Maluga from A-Dex who had feedback on D.U.N.E. He said they are missing the ability for native unit testing and debugging tools for smart contracts which are not currently supported in D.U.N.E. He suggests they can add a smart contract for Vigor it would be beneficial.

Matt Witherspoon says at the moment that approach is not the one they want to take but promises to pass the feedback on.

Mandel code strategy

They are looking to move onto Jungle 4 but will make the call at the 1 pm meeting. They wanted more time for unit tests to be written and to have more time for EVM stuff. These are looking good. They felt it was better to wait a week until everything was up on Jungle. They should know by the next meeting if that was a go or not.

EOS Nation continues to test the latest builds on Jungle4 and has no problems to report. There is not much to share testing everything as it comes. Everything is looking good from their perspective.

Communications strategy

The group has assigned a writer to produce an article and there is also an article in the works about developer node resources.
