Senate confirms U.S. ambassador for Ukraine

KYIV (Bywire News) - On Thursday, the chief of staff for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky welcomed on behalf of the nation, a confirmation by the U.S. Senate to appoint Bridget Brink as Washington's Ambassador to Ukraine.

On Twitter, Andriy Yermak said, "We greet the U.S. Senate unanimous decision to approve Bridget Brink (as) the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine." A U.S. ambassador has not been present in Kyiv since 2019.
