The Irish Independent Newspaper Circulation

The Irish Independent is an Irish daily paper, and online publication via Independent.ie, which is owned by Independent News & Media (INM) who are a subsidiary of Mediahuis.

The paper version frequently includes glossy publications. Generally a broadsheet paper, it presented an extra compact size in 2004 and in December 2012 (following billionaire Denis O'Brien's takeover) it was announced that the paper would end up being only compact.

The Irish Independent has an online archive, called the Irish Newspaper Archives website, but only contains articles up to 2004 that are "Black-And-White" microfilm pages, however since 2005 the pages of the Irish Independent online in colour.
