LONDON (Bywire News) - When we talk about crypto and blockchain, in particular, we often refer to the decentralised applications (dApps). These are indispensable when browsing in a decentralised world, and EOS is full of them.
Some of the most famous ones you might already know such as MetaMask or OpenSea, but not everyone knows what they are and how to use them. In this article, we will look at the main dApps that every EOS holder should think about getting their hands on.
Anchor Wallet
Although there are many wallets and all functional such as Wombat Wallet or Token Pocket, the best in our opinion is Anchor Wallet. It’s simple, multifunctional, operates on the EOS blockchain and offers a host of services such as the ability to create a wallet backup with a certificate which in turn protects the private key.
EOSIO Account Creator
If you’re looking to create an account on EOS, then the aptly named EOSIO Account Creator is for you. This comes from the team at Greymass who are also behind the Anchor Wallet. It has a simple interface in which a credit card can buy an EOS account for as little as $2. It’s a great, convenient, tool whether you’re looking to create an account for yourself or for someone else as a present.
EOS Power Up
Another fundamental dApp that came up out of the EOS community is EOS Power UP. Anyone can get hold of some free transactions simply by entering the details of their EOS account. It has recently also launched its NFTs that can be staked and offer up a number of advantages.
Bloks
When it comes to block explorer, Ethereum has Etherscan. On EOS the biggest explorer is Bloks. It has a simple but very functional interface, which displays all the information of both our EOS account such as the NFTs and also of the network such as the cost of RAM, the number of TPS and, a list of tokens currently on the EOS blockchain and their capitalisation. It is essentially a CoinMarketCap within a block explorer.
DefiBox
One thing none of us can go without is a decentralised exchange dApp (DEX). Sooner or later we’re going to want to exchange some tokens or lend assets. The DefiBox offers everything we could want, from the simple swap, up to lending and a decentralised USN stable coin.
GenPool
To get the most out of EOS, we have to vote. However, understanding which block producer we should vote for and how many can be difficult. Many users simply resort to proxies who can vote for them. For that, they need information about the best proxies which they can get by using the GenerEOS tool, GenPool. Not only does this provide us with more details on the proxy itself, but it also rewards percentages we will get by voting for that proxy. It’s useful for finding passive income in an optimal way.
EOSIO Dashboard
EOSIO Dashboard is essential to know the state of play on the EOS blockchain as well as other sisterchains. It’s a sublime piece of work created by EOS Costa Rica and allows us to understand and learn more about the blockchain itself such as the nodes, Endpoint APIs geographic distribution and so on.
AtomicHub
NFTs are everywhere. On Ethereum people are using OpenSea while for EOS the best place to go is AtomicHub which allows us not only to buy and sell NFTs but also to create them. In fact, it is widely used just to create NFTs from various artists and projects like that of EOS Power Up.
Upland
Last but not least, we all like to play a game once in a while and in Upland we have something special. It’s a real metaverse on the EOS blockchain and that allows us to explore a map of the whole world and also to build on our lots that we have bought previously. It’s a game that everyone should play as we can start with zero investment and build up from there.

Le must dApp per chi usa la blockchain di EOS
Quando si parla di crypto e blockchain in particolare, spesso si fa riferimento anche alle applicazioni decentralizzate (dApp) che si consigliano di utilizzare e che sono indispensabili quando si naviga in un mondo decentralizzato, dApp diverse per ogni ambito di applicazione.
Se la maggior parte delle persone potrebbe conoscere quelle più blasonate come MetaMask o OpenSea, le stesse non posso applicarsi anche alle altre blockchain in quanto utilizzano dApp differenti e così via, ma non tutti sanno quali sono e come utilizzarli.
In questo articolo vedremo le principali dApp che ogni EOS holder deve avere ed utilizzare, a vario titolo e per varie funzioni.
Anchor Wallet
Sebbene ci siano tanti wallet e tutti funzionali come Wombat Wallet o Token Pocket, abbiamo deciso di premiare Anchor Wallet per la sua semplicità e multifunzionalità di operare con la blockchain di EOS, per non parlare dei vari servizi legati sempre a questo wallet, come la possibilità di creare un backup del wallet con un certificato che protegge a sua volta la chiave privata.
EOSIO Account Creator
Non può mancare anche uno strumento, EOSIO Account Creator, per creare un account EOS o di altre sister chain ed in questo caso ancora una volta il team di Greymass, dietro ad Anchor Wallet, ha una semplice interfaccia dove con una semplice carta di credito si può comprare un account EOS a poco prezzo, appena $2; strumento comodo anche per regalare agli altri l’account stesso.
EOS Power Up
Altra dApp fondamentale e che nasce dalla volontà della community di EOS è sicuramente EOS Power UP che permette a chiunque di ottenere qualche transazione gratuita semplicemente scrivendo il proprio account EOS, e di recente ha anche lanciato dei suoi NFT che si possono mettere in stake ed ottenere diversi vantaggi.
Bloks
Quando si parla di block explorer se su Ethereum il principale è Etherscan, su EOS questo primato spetta senza ombra di dubbio a Bloks in quanto ha una semplice interfaccia ma molto funzionale, dove possiamo vedere tutte le informazioni sia del nostro account EOS come ad esempio i nostri NFT ma anche della rete come il costo della RAM, il numero di tps ma anche una lista di token attualmente sulla blockchain di EOS e la loro capitalizzazione, praticamente un CoinMarketCap all’interno di un block explorer.
DefiBox
Non può mancare anche una dApp di exchange decentralizzato (DEX) in quanto ogni utente prima o poi deve scambiare uno o più token ma anche mettere a rendita i suoi asset ed in questo caso la piattaforma di DefiBox offre tutto al suo interno, dal semplice swap, fino al lending e ad una stablecoin decentralizzata USN.
GenPool
Su EOS si sa che per ottenere il massimo dalla blockchain è doveroso votare ma capire per quali e quanti Block Producer (BP) farlo è difficile, e spesso gli utenti ricorrono a dei proxy che votano per loro, ed in questo caso per capire sommariamente anche i migliori proxy, vediamo che possiamo utilizzare lo strumento di GenerEOS, GenPool, che ci fornisce non solo maggiori dettagli sul proxy stesso ma anche le percentuali di premio che otterremo votando per quel proxy, davvero utile per trovare rendite passive in maniera ottimale.
EOSIO Dashboard
Questa piattaforma, EOSIO Dashboard, invece è fondamentale per conoscere lo stato dell’arte della blockchain di EOS ma anche di altre sisterchain, lavoro sublime realizzato da EOS Costa Rica, ci permette di capire e conoscere maggiori informazioni riguardo la blockchain stessa come i nodi, le API Endpoint la distribuzione geografica e così via.
AtomicHub
Anche gli NFT non potevano mancare all’appello ed in questo caso se su Ethereum la più utilizzata è OpenSea, su EOS la piattaforma migliore è sicuramente quella di AtomicHub che permette non solo di comprare e vendere NFT ma anche di crearli, infatti è molto utilizzata proprio per creare NFT da vari artisti e progetti come quello di EOS Power Up.
Upland
Concludiamo questa lista non esaustiva, con un gioco incredibile e super articolato che è quello di Upland un vero e proprio metaverso sulla blockchain di EOS e che ci permette di esplorare una mappa del mondo intero ed anche costruire sui nostri lotti che avremo comprato in precedenza, gioco che tutti dovrebbero giocare in quanto si può partire con 0 investimento se non il nostro tempo.
