Chinese Government entities closely connected to the Wuhan Institute of Virology are deliberately creating Covid-style pathogens that experts say have the potential to wipe out much of humanity, causing the world to become "instantly unrecognisable" and the current pandemic "relatively minor".
The Chinese Communist Party has set up highly-advanced scientific infrastructure developing the “technology” in impoverished Pakistan, which in recent years has largely become a vassal state of China under China’s notorious “debt-trap” style colonial expansion.
Experts say there is no legitimate or peaceful reason for China creating the potentially devastating bio-agents, which if released - accidentally or otherwise - would have unprecedented and devastating global consequences.
The developments - confirmed by top-level intelligence sources from multiple countries - mean that Chinese bio-engineers now have the ability to create in Pakistan, or to “drop in” from connected facilities in China, antigens that are hundreds of times more infectious and lethal than Covid-19.
China has been the main supplier of Pakistan’s nuclear weapons program over several decades.
The Pakistan facility is jointly run by the Wuhan Institute of Virology - known for being named a likely origin of Covid-19 - and the Defence Science and Technology Organization (DESTO), which is under the direct control of the Pakistan Army.
The Wuhan laboratory is known for being a likely source of the COVID-19 pandemic, which to date has killed over 6 million people.
The laboratory, a collaboration between the China-Pakistan military laboratory is a “Biosafety Level 4” facility (BSL-4).
Under international standards there are four bio-safety levels, with BSL-4 being the most dangerous and where infectious agents for which there is no known vaccine or remedy.
“BSL-4 laboratories are used to study infectious agents or toxins that pose a high risk of aerosol-transmitted laboratory infections and life-threatening disease for which no vaccine or therapy is available.
Global biodefense expert Dr Ryan Clarke, who focuses specifically on “high-risk pathogen networks”, said China’s activities in Pakistan if left unchecked, could have devastating global consequences.
“Whether through error or malicious intent, if the joint WIV-DESTO bioweapons program is left unchecked, we will be facing exponentially accelerating risks that many will find impossible to comprehend until they occur,” Dr Clarke said.

“It represents a dangerous platform for WIV, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and multiple other CCP-run institutions, including those with People’s Liberation Army (PLA) links, to conduct bioweapons research under Pakistan Army cover,” he said.
“As catastrophic as SARS-CoV-2 has been with millions of deaths and global disruption, in certain respects its roughly 1% fatality rate represents a ‘near miss’ event that could have been much worse, even if this rate was 2-3%,” Dr Clarke said.
Dr Clarke, who is a Senior Fellow at the National University of Singapore, said it had now also emerged that China has built another BSL-4 facility in Kunming, which had gone almost entirely undetected by the international community. This lab is officially managed by the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS).
Dr Clarke said the existence of the Kunming laboratory presented additional serious concerns.
Even if a specific bio-weapon was not developed in the Pakistan lab, one created in Kunming could easily be “dropped in” to the Pakistan facility, with both being run by the same entities and many of the same scientists.
“The relatively unknown BSL4 lab in Kunming is designed to handle the world’s most dangerous pathogens and conduct high-risk experiments on them,” Dr Clarke said.
“My team and I are also tracking these developments closely.

Dr Clarke is also a specialist on Pakistan-linked terrorism, specifically the terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba, having published multiple books and assessments on the subject. He said the Pakistan laboratory was particularly concerning given Pakistan is run by its military and has a history of state-based terrorism, including its orchestration of the 2008 Mumbai attacks.
“There is the real prospect of this type of CCP bioweapons development capability being directly transferred to a laboratory environment that is run by an Army that is unaccountable to anyone and has extensive links with Islamist groups who continue to carry out special forces-style terrorist operations,” Dr Clarke said.
“This cannot be tolerated.

“This BSL4 lab in Kunming falls under the official administration of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS), thereby concretely linking the bioweapons research activities of CAMS with that of WIV (which officially falls under the Chinese Academy of Sciences),” Dr Clarke said.
“This has substantial implications for the joint WIV-DESTO facility in Pakistan in that the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences has a direct mechanism to ‘plug into’ Pakistani bioweapons research via WIV.

The existence of the Pakistan Army/China run bio-safety level 4 facility was revealed in late 2020, yet despite those revelations - and subsequent confirmation of the facility by China - the issue has gone almost entirely unreported outside of Australia and India.
China’s activities involved “gain-of-function” research, which involves alters organisms so as to change their potency, transmissibility (how easily infections spread) or “host range” - meaning the types of animals or humans they can infect.
Gain-of-function is defined as engaging in activities “which could enable a pandemic-potential pathogen to replicate more quickly or cause more harm in humans or other closely-related mammals."
Dr Clarke said China’s bio “research” involved both natural and synthetic - or man-made - viruses, and that much of its activities had gone largely unnoticed to date.
“While the past several years has shed light on the gain-of-function research being done on bat coronaviruses (such as SARS-CoV-2) at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, equally (if not more) dangerous pathogen research has continued at the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. unabated and away from international scrutiny,” Dr Clarke said.
Pakistan lab confirmed
The Chinese Communist Party confirmed the China-Pakistan tie-up in late 2020, after the existence of the Pakistan laboratory was revealed by The Klaxon.
Although confirming the existence of the Pakistan military run biosafety level 4 laboratory, China denied it was engaging in bio-warfare activities.

Instead, the Chinese Government has claimed its artificial creation of the devastatingly lethal bio-agents is in some way connected to “research” associated with creating a vaccine for Covid-19, or for other yet-to-emerge pathogens.
Experts say that claim is untrue and fails credibility on multiple fronts.
Research around Covid-19 style pathogens is vitally important, and how vaccines Pfizer and AstraZeneca were developed.
What China is doing is very different.
Studies which are publicly available, though have been overlooked by the world’s media and many international security and intelligence agencies, show that “research” is not about creating vaccines.
Instead it is creating potentially devastating new pathogens.
These “studies” are being conducted in China - they are expressly illegal elsewhere in the world.
Each of the three effective Covid-19 vaccines were developed with none of the “research” China is conducting.
The Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine was developed in the US AstraZeneca; the second most widely used and successful vaccine, was developed in Cambridge in the UK; and the Janssen vaccine developed by in the Netherlands by Janssen Vaccines, a subsidiary of US company Johnson & Johnson.
Dr Clarke said that even if China were conducting the “research” to come up with vaccines, the risks of the activities it is actually engaging in - creating new lethal viruses - are so dangerous they vastly outweighed any potential benefit.

The activities being undertaken in the laboratories are so dangerous they are outlawed in almost all of the world, including being banned by the US and the European Union.
China’s claims to be conducting the research in pursuit of “vaccines” was further dubious given that, regardless, China had been relatively unsuccessful in creating Covid-19 vaccines, compared to other nations where its dangerous gain-of-function activities are outlawed.
Covid-19 vaccine Pfizer was developed in the US and AstraZeneca, the second most widely used and successful vaccine, was developed in Cambridge in the UK.
In fact, Chinese leader Xi Jinping has been actively spreading disinformation about Covid-19 and made headlines and international condemnation after pushing a “Chinese traditional medicine” as a vaccine, despite it having no proven effectiveness or benefits.
Despite Covid-19 originating in Wuhan, China has steadfastly and inexplicably refused to allow proper international investigation into the true source of the biggest global pandemic in over a century.
Chinese officials have also previously made outlandish claims about the origin of the virus, including suggesting - though providing zero evidence - that if the virus did originate in Wuhan, it could have been the coronavirus could have been brought to the city by US soldiers taking part in the 2019 Military World Games.
China did develop a Covid-19 vaccine, however its effectiveness has been seriously questioned and widely shunned.
Dr Clarke said the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS), which runs the Kunming lab, operates under a misleading front.
“Despite appearances, like the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences isn’t a purely civilian operation,” Dr Clarke said.

“While the base structure of CAMS resembles an American-style system, material differences have emerged over time.
“For one, all members of the CAMS leadership team and leading clinicians and scientists are strongly encouraged, if not outright required, to be CCP (Chinese Communist Party) members and carry out Party functions in addition to their clinical/scientific work.
“While CCP control over CAMS is not unique under China’s system of governance, this marks a substantial divergence from its American counterparts,” he said.
In any event, in effect, all Chinese major companies and entities are under the control, directly or indirectly, of the Chinese Communist Party.
“The joint WIV-DESTO operation in Pakistan is not a bilateral biomedical research partnership between two civilian institutes focused on advancing human and animal health,” Dr Clarke said.
“It represents a dangerous platform for CAMS and multiple other CCP-run institutions, including those with People’s Liberation Army (PLA) links, to conduct bioweapons research under Pakistan Army cover.
“This structural reality combines with Pakistan’s decades-long proven track record of utilising home-grown terrorist groups, such as Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), to carry out terrorist operations in India.
“The net result is an extraordinarily high-risk geostrategic situation that has been virtually ignored by most analysts,” Dr Clarke said.

If action was not taken the risks would grow exponentially, with China “internationalising” its bioweapons program.
“If this foundational component of the CCP’s internationalisation of its bioweapons program is not stopped in Pakistan, there will be no limiting principle to prevent the CCP from replicating this process elsewhere,” Dr Clarke said.
“Under such circumstances, our current world could become instantly unrecognisable without warning and could make the events of recent years seem relatively minor, much as many now view the SARS-CoV-1 outbreak in 2002.”
