Chuck Schumer had an embarrassing Freudian slip up while addressing his colleagues at the Senate on Friday with regards to the former President Trump’s impeachment.
Senate majority leader try to persuade his fellow senators to confirm a date for the trial of Trump’s impeachment, in response to his role in inciting a deadly riot on the Capitol which left five dead and many more injured.
In his remarks, Schumer proclaimed, “make no mistake, there will be a trial and when that trial ends senators will have to decide if they believe Donald John Trump incited the erection” — then almost instantly corrected himself to say, “insurrection against the United States,” with a look of realised horror etched across his face.
So, we natually made a funny video out of it. Why? Because that is what the internet was made for!
