MANCHESTER (Bywire News) - On Saturday, Marcus Rashford, the forward player for Manchester United expressed his disappointment in media reports that challenge the players' loyalty to the team manager Ralf Rangnick.

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford said on Saturday he was disappointed with media reports questioning the players' commitment to manager Ralf Rangnick following a difficult start to the German's reign at Old Trafford.

After a tough start at Old Trafford, many players are supposedly discontent with Ragnick's methods. Rangnick expressed on Friday that he was aware many players were eager to see him leave Man United later this month.

In a statement published to Twitter, "We've all been disappointed with recent performances and we've been as disappointed with the news coverage questioning our commitment to not only the manager and the coaching staff but the club,"

"I have endless respect for both and I'm looking forward to bettering my game under the staff... I'm not sulking, I'm not unhappy," he added.

During Monday's game with Wolverhampton, Wanderers Rashford was put back on the field during the 1-0 league defeat, the first loss under Rangnick. The defeat left the club in seventh place, four points off the Champions League places.

According to Rashford, although he wasn't pleased with some of his recent performances, his loyalty to the club should not be questioned.
