LONDON (Bywire News) - Whenever you look at a project and a blockchain you must always look not only at what it has done up until now, but what it will do, what its potential is, and how it is set up to achieve its goals. Only then can you make real predictions about the future and whether this is a blockchain worth investing your time in.
As everyone in the EOS community already knows, progress up until this point has been slow. Led by B1 it has struggled to gain the traction most expected of it. The name of EOS has shrunk down the pecking order of blockchain with most of the action focusing on private versions of the software on which EOS is based rather than EOS itself.
However, the past is in the past. EOS today is a very different prospect from EOS yesterday. The arrival of the EOS Network Foundation (ENF) has injected new life into the ecosystem, with fresh marketing efforts and moves to develop the technologies.
dApps
Let's start with the decentralized applications (dApps) that will soon be launched or enhanced, as the distribution of half a million dollars to 76 projects which exploit the EOS blockchain has just been completed.
Take, for example, the decentralised social network, Violet Garden, which offers token management and the creation of NFTs, or ZEOS, which brings privacy to EOS by exploiting a process similar to Zcash and Harmony, to carry out any type of transactions in an anonymous format. This will also open the doors to anonymous decentralized finance (DeFiAn).
The EOStarter platform, meanwhile, allows the various projects with a token to be "listed" in a launchpad just to create an incentive for these projects and allow an optimized pre-sale of tokens and all on-chain.
EOS 3.0
Let's not forget the upcoming updates regarding the development of the EOS blockchain, which will continue to progress and improve more and more on the code side, above all and with the introduction of various improvements to the blockchain itself.
Other blockchains are trying to manage issues such as increasing the number of transactions or avoiding being flooded – problems that EOS overcame several years ago. It is, then, ahead of the game and it is now time to enhance the blockchain further such as bringing block speed down from 0.5 seconds to 0.3 seconds, making it even faster.
Workgroups and Google
We also remind you that the ENF has set up various working groups, and each of these working groups has a dedicated mission that goes from the management of the code itself of the EOS blockchain, up to the integration of the EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine). More recent groups focus on managing the security of smart contracts and managing emergencies in the event of an attack.
In addition to this, many seem to have forgotten that Google Cloud itself has already activated its EOS node and that it actively participates in this blockchain as a Block Producer (BP). They are the first tech giant to take this step and could also be followed by other tech giants such as Amazon or even Microsoft.
Conclusion
With all these innovations and activities, it is difficult to be pessimistic. Anyone who understands these developments and has been following the blockchain will know that the current price of EOS does not tell the whole picture. Indeed, once the wider market understands what’s happening and the true potential of EOS, it could prove to be extremely undervalued.
The blockchain field is becoming crowded. Recent months have seen many leap into the ecosystem, but how many can truly say they are tangibly better than the others? By this we mean a blockchain with the ability to process millions of transactions without crashing, with minimal or zero transactions costs and which has less of the problems other blockchains are facing.
So, while many people despair about the future of EOS, all is not lost. Indeed, quite the opposite. In a crowded field, EOS has the best technology and offers the best proposition for developers. Its future will depend on how quickly the rest of the ecosystem wakes up to this fact.

Qualè il futuro di EOS?
Quando si analizza un progetto ed una blockchain, bisogna sempre guardare sia quanto è stato fatto fino a questo momento e a quanto sarà fatto in futuro e quali obiettivi dovrà raggiungere, in modo tale da fare delle previsioni, anche lato prezzo dell’asset, per determinare se investirci tempo e denaro.
Come tutti ormai sanno nella community di EOS, questa blockchain e progetto si è mosso in maniera lenta ed alle volte contro produttiva, guidata da una società che nei fatti non è stata in grado di mantenere alto il nome di EOS nell’ecosistema delle blockchain, puntando sempre di utilizzare delle versioni private del software su cui si basa EOS piuttosto che EOS stessa.
Ma al di là di quanto è stato fatto in passato, è bene ricordare che ormai e con l’avvento della EOS Network Foundation (ENF), tutta quella parte di marketing e sviluppo adesso è ben organizzata ed incentrata allo sviluppo di EOS con l’implementazione di nuove tecnologie e non solo.
dApp
Partiamo proprio dalle applicazioni decentralizzate (dApp) che prossimamente saranno lanciate o potenziate, in quanto da poco si è conclusa la distribuzione dei fondi, ben mezzo milione di dollari, a ben 76 progetti diversi che sfruttano proprio la blockchain di EOS come sottostante, e progetti che spaziano in diversi settori.
Ricordiamo tra questi il social network decentralizzato Viole Garden, che permette già adesso di poterlo utilizzare come social media innovativo e basato su blockchain, con tanto di gestione di token e creazione di NFT al suo interno.
Altro progetto interessante è quello di ZEOS, progetto che mira a portare la privacy su EOS sfruttando un processo simile a Zcash ed Harmony, per effettuare qualsiasi tipo di transazioni in formato anonimo, cosa che aprirà le porte anche alla finanza decentralizzata anonima (DeFiAn).
Come non menzionare la piattaforma EOSTarter che permette ai vari progetti con un token di poter esser “listati” in un launchpad proprio per dare un incentivo a questi progetti e permettere una pre vendita dei token in maniera ottimizzata, e tutto on chain.
EOS 3.0
Non dimentichiamo poi anche i prossimi aggiornamenti per quanto riguarda lo sviluppo della blockchain di EOS, che continuerà a progredire e migliorare sempre di più lato codice soprattutto e con l’introduzione di diverse migliorie alla blockchain stessa.
Infatti se altre blockchain hanno in programma di raggiungere diversi obiettivi come l’aumento delle transazioni o cercare di non ingolfarsi, su EOS, dove queste tematiche sono già superate da diversi anni ormai, è tempo di andare a potenziare la blockchain stessa come ad esempio la riduzione della velocità dei blocchi dai 0,5 secondi a 0,3 secondi, rendendo il tutto ancora più veloce.
Gruppi di lavoro e Google
Ricordiamo inoltre che la ENF ha istituito vari gruppi di lavoro, ben 6, ed ognuno di questo gruppo di lavoro ha una missione dedicata che va dalla gestione del codice stesso della blockchain di EOS, fino all’integrazione della EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) per passare anche ad uno in merito alla sicurezza degli smart contract e a come gestire situazioni di emergenza in caso di attacchi o perdita di fondi.
Oltre a ciò, molti sembrano aver dimenticato, che la stessa Google Cloud, ha già attivato il proprio nodo EOS e che partecipa attivamente a questa blockchain diventando Block Producer (BP), facendo il primo passo nel settore e passi che potrebbero essere seguiti anche da altri colossi della tecnologia come Amazon o addirittura Microsoft.
Conclusioni
Con tutte queste novità che ci sono e ci saranno su questa blockchain, è difficile essere pessimisti ed anzi coloro che conoscono queste informazioni, sa bene che il prezzo attuale di EOS non è minimamente allineato con tutte queste novità che ci saranno, ed è per questo che sempre più gente sta acquistando il relativo asset, proprio in previsione della moltitudine degli avvenimenti che ci saranno.
Tante sono le blockchain che negli ultimi mesi sembrano essere spuntate dal nulla o che adesso emergono, ma quante alla fine sono veramente migliori tecnicamente di altre, ossia che riescano a processare milioni di transazioni senza bloccarsi, avere un costo di transazione nullo o minimo, e senza problemi, davvero poche e solo nel lungo periodo si potranno vedere i frutti.
Bisogna sempre vedere un progetto ed una blockchain sotto gli occhi che ci interessano, sia lato tecnico che lato “investimento” e poi in base anche alle informazioni che abbiamo appreso sulle stesse, si fanno le dovute considerazioni, ed alla luce di quanto esposto fino a questo momento, non mi sembra che sia tutto perduto o un progetto abbandonato, anzi praticamente l’opposto.
